"Hearts? Isn't that kinda sissy?" -- Sissy? Are you kidding? The heart shape happens to be a very comfortable fit in the mouth. You might want to take the warning seriously too. (You know, the heart shape with a flame in it?) If you suffer with "heartburn" or ulcers, you might not like these. Definately not for sissies.

"What makes them hot?" -- We use more of the best cinnamon oil than anyone else does to start with. And then we add the natural flavors and oils to give it that extra warmth that makes your tongue sweat just enough to keep it from catching fire.

"How hot are they?" -- The average person will think these much too hot. If regular cinnamon candies have challenged you, you will not like these. Flaming Hearts are not intended to be the hottest candy ever, but, they are certainly hotter than most.

"How big are they?" -- Flaming Hearts are larger than most other hard candies at a full inch across. Can you take the heat for that long?

"Will you ship a gift directly to someone?" -- Absolutely! We will ship your purchased gift anywhere within the USA. We will even include a short (120 characters max) message right on the shipping label! Say what you want, just keep it short and clean.

"How do they get the flame imprint in the side?" -- Flaming Hearts are poured into FDA approved food grade silicon molds made special for us. These require no release agents (oils), but, we do dust the mold lightly with powdered sugar that you may see as a white powder from time to time.

"Tell me more about the jars." -- These are glass jars with a wire bale and rubber seal, they seal air-tight. They are packed full, 8 ounces just barely fits. We always add a desiccant pack to absorb any moisture in the jar. Jars are then sealed with a heat shrink sleeve while the candy is still fresh. We wrap the jar in bubble wrap and pack it into a cardboard box that will fit in any standard roadside type mailbox.

"Why do you give away the recipe?" -- Our recipe was compiled from many available sources including some online. We don't give away all of our secrets, but, if you want to make your own candy, we want you to have a good experience. So, that is why we share with you what our research shows is the best way . We don't plan to make every flavor of candy, our specialty is making them hot.
